What we're making

  • Espresso Bar Idle

    Open a tiny espresso bar in a Seoul alley and grow it into a chain. Hire baristas, develop each shop's signature drink, then run new shops in Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and beyond from your own HQ.

  • RepSetLog

    A workout log for lifting and nothing else. Log weight, reps and sets, let the rest timer tell you when to go again, and see which muscles you worked today. Your log is backed up, so a new phone picks up where you left off.

The studio

Life is Play was founded in Seoul in October 2026 by Hwang Sanghyeon, who has been making mobile games for 15 years. We keep our games and apps small, friendly and easy to come back to.
